Mission Statement
Chrysalis Light, Inc. provides faith-based recovery homes and transformative support to individuals overcoming addiction, homelessness, and the justice system. Through one-on-one coaching, spiritual mentorship, life skills development, and behavioral education, we empower individuals to break destructive generational cycles and rebuild their lives with faith, purpose, and confidence.
How It Started
Chrysalis Light, Inc. was born through the support and mentorship of Idaho Chrysalis founder Marsha Tennyson. Marsha originally established Chrysalis in Boise, Idaho, where I, Erin Aboud, participated in the 18-month program in 2011 and graduated in 2012.
Because of Chrysalis, I have been deeply touched by the Lord’s unconditional love, and since starting my recovery in 2011, I have witnessed firsthand the power of faith-based support in transforming lives. In 2015, I moved to Reno, Nevada, where I have been actively involved in the recovery community. Over the years, I have seen a deep need for the kind of structured, faith-based support that changed my life, inspiring me to establish Chrysalis Light, Inc. to bring hope, healing, and transformation to those seeking a way out of addiction, homelessness, and the justice system.
